Privacy Policy
WEOVI is a family activity finder for the Vancouver area. We try to collect as little as possible, and we never sell your information.
What stays on your device
Your family profile (kid ages, energy level, budget, travel radius), your saved places and events, and your day plan are stored in your browser’s local storage. They are not attached to an account and are not uploaded to us. Clearing your browser data removes them permanently.
What you send us
When you use the submission form or email us, we store what you type — typically a name, email address, and the details of the listing or question. We use it only to review the submission or reply to you.
Location
If you tap “Use my location”, your browser asks your permission and we use the coordinates in your browser to sort results by distance. We do not store your location on our servers.
Third parties
Map tiles are served by OpenStreetMap. Listings may link out to business websites and ticketing pages, which have their own privacy practices. Our database and hosting run on Supabase.
Children
WEOVI is written for parents and caregivers, not for children. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and we never ask for a child’s name, photo, or birthdate — only broad age ranges you choose for yourself.
